3. The presence of 2 pink lines in positions "1" and "2" indicates the presence of hCG at a concentration between 100mIU/ml and 300mIU/ml, corresponding to two to three weeks of pregnancy.

4. The presence of 3 pink lines in positions "1", "2" and "3" indicates the presence of hCG at a concentration between 300mIU/ml and 1000mIU/ml, corresponding to three to four weeks of pregnancy.

5. The presence of 4 pink lines in positions "1", "2" "3" and "4" indicates the presence of hCG at a concentration greater than 1000mIU/ml, corresponding to four weeks of pregnancy plus.

Questions and answers

1. The test tells me I'm not pregnant, but I'm not convinced.
If you have taken the test before the expected date of menstruation, repeat the test with another pregnancy test after 48 hours. Possible error in calculating the date of your next period. You should base this on the usual length of your menstrual cycle by counting the days between the first day of your period and one day before the first day of your next period. If your cycles are irregular, count the longest menstrual period in the last few months and if you don't know the estimated date of your next period, count at least 19 days since your last unprotected sex. If the test is still negative three days after the expected date of your next period and your period is late, contact your doctor.
2. I took the test a few days ago and the results are inconsistent.
If your pregnancy week estimate decreases or shows unexpected results when you perform a few tests over a few days, contact your doctor.
3. What situations may interfere with the test result?
Some medications, treatments, conditions and alcohol consumption can affect the result, leading to false results.
4. The following may lead to false-positive results:
- fertility drugs containing injectable hCG. Other fertility treatments such as clomiphene citrate, painkillers and contraceptive hormones do not affect results; - if you have been pregnant recently, the test may detect residual hCG in your urine; - if you are menopausal or pre-menopausal.
5. The following may lead to erroneous results:
- tests carried out too soon after stopping hormonal contraception (irregular cycles); - the presence of ovarian cysts; - multiple or ectopic pregnancies.

Product description

The Barza weekly pregnancy test is a rapid test that detects the presence of the hormone hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in the urine. The test is easy to use, intended for home use.

The Pregnancy test with week indicator Barza can be performed at any time of the day but bear in mind that the first morning urine contains the highest level of hCG.

The week of pregnancy can be estimated by visually reading the test according to the lines shown in test areas 1, 2, 3 or 4.

During the test, if the urine sample contains hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) hormone, it reacts with the β-hCG antibody, conjugated with colloidal gold, and this reaction further produces the coloured line, visible to the naked eye, in test zones 1, 2, 3 or 4, depending on the concentration of hCG hormone in the urine sample.

Pregnancy test with week indicator Barza has an accuracy greater than 99%.
